Are you watching how much you consume?
Consumers are interested in knowing how much and what type of foods to eat to improve their health.
However, over the years, the sizes of the food even doubled their size. Twenty years ago, two slices of pizza were 500 calories, today two slices of pizza is 850. Those extra 350 calories, if someone was to eat two slices two times a month, they would put on two extra pounds a year or forty pounds in the next two decades. Fast food companies have also increased their sizes in burgers either two or five times larger.
The ones who do check the labels on the food, however do not check all the food they buy. Most people figure why should they check healthy foods such as: grains, wheat, and the foods you think would not bad for you. Most of the time the good food we consume, we still need to be careful of how much we take in.
Many people think it's the peoples fault, however it is not the obese peoples fault. It is the food
companies that we go to, and everything we are eating, they are able to make
them in smaller portions and not have as many bad things in them.
Especially resturants, they serve more food than one person needs in one meal. Resturants most of the time waste their food because not everyone can finish their meal because of the size. Cutting the meal in half would help out the resturant and the people ordering.
